L.E.A.D. Rescue, NFP is an Illinois based 501(c)(3) charitable organization. We are a no-kill dog rescue with the goal of lowering the euthanasia rate for Chicagoland area open-access shelters, providing humane education and finding loving homes for dogs in need. We rely solely on generous donations, fosters and volunteers to get our dogs to safety and into fur-ever homes. Please consider making a donation to help a dog in need.
Meet our adoptables!
Khalil Mack had been at the shelter since around July and was passed over for some reason. He was a favorite amongst the shelter staff and volunteers, and all the programs he was a part of.
Roast is the size of a person’s thigh, this is the most angelic pocket Pit mix ever. He’s a chin scratch lover. A waddle monkey. And the most behaved 5 year old gentleman.
Jaegerbomb is wonderful mind you. She is darling, friendly to dogs of all sizes and superb around kids. She's eager to learn and to trust even from men who might have hurt her in the past. Kinda a dog that should have gotten everything and anything from the day she was born.
A goofball on stilts. A baby giraffe that took off running once he plopped out of his mum. And at 5 months, I see no ridge on his back (doesn't mean he isn't part), but see some Catahoula Leopard Dog/Redbone Coonhound/Great Dane in this gentle giant's heart.
Mac is pure love and innocence. She's a Pitbull mix we think of some sort and is only 5-6 months old. She graces us with her hobbly walk. Her sweetness. Her pleasant demeanor and wanderlust eyes.
Paprika is extremely pretty and probably grabbed your attention. She is a darlin' and someone is going to have the best time, getting to snuggle this honey bunny.
